CSA: Goal unchanged at $17.84 million for 2010

DETROIT – The goal for the 2010 Catholic Services Appeal is $17,839,175 to fund most of the ministries of the Archdiocese of Detroit.

An "angel of the Lord" had just freed the Apostles from prison. They returned to public preaching. This surprised the "high priest and his colleagues," who had ordered them to be imprisoned. They were quietly brought before the council for a second trial. The Jewish religious leaders feared the wrath of the people, who favored the preaching of the Apostles.

Detroit – In the wake of recent news stories about the sin and crime of clerical sexual abuse involving minors, Archbishop Allen Vigneron recommitted the Detroit Archdiocese to "further establish a Church-life in which children are safe."
