Pastoral Musician

pianoThe primary function of the Pastoral Musician is to be rooted in the Gospel, who leads the singing assembly into prayer, through celebration, preparation, evaluation, education and personal ministry.

The Pastoral Musician in cooperation and with the assistance of all the parish ministers supports the Gospel message through song and challenges the assembly to live their faith more fully.

The Pastoral Musician is any individual called by their baptismal promises to serve God and community with the gifts they have received to proclaim the Kingdom of God.
